Flash Dryers

The Flash Dryers are pneumatic systems combining simultaneous air conveying and drying, where solids are introduced at the feed point and dry in a 1-pass arrangement before full discharge to the product collection system. The dryers have been used to dry products in many industries including agrifood, chemical, minerals. Flash Drying Process Wet material is dispersed into a stream of heated air (or gas) which conveys it through a drying duct. Using the heat from the airstream, the material dries as it is conveyed. Product is separated using cyclones, and/or bag filters. In flash dryers, the product is in intimate contact with the gas stream for a very short time.
