An Integrated Electrical Heated Agitated Thin Film Dryer (ATFD) followed by an Evaporator is a modern solution for efficient concentration and drying of high-solid, viscous, and heat-sensitive materials. In this setup: The ATFD is electrically heated and designed to handle concentrated slurry or mother liquor. It removes residual moisture by creating a thin film on the heated surface with continuous agitation. The vapors generated from the ATFD (at elevated temperature) are not wasted; instead, they are recovered and utilized as a heating medium for the evaporator. This integration improves energy efficiency, reduces overall operating cost, and minimizes the need for external steam or fuel.
